There is actually a semi-hidden syndication feed on every LJ; details in
this FAQ entry
.
In your case,
http://www.livejournal.com/users/schmoomom/data/atom
is the Atom feed, and
http://www.livejournal.com/users/schmoomom/data/rss
would be the RSS 2.0 feed.
You'd still need to have somewhere to host the MP3s, but that should be easier to get set up.
