I do love it, and I don't think I'm anal. It just makes sense to have a plan, even if you just write things down on a paper napkin. Miro always takes charge, though. His philosophy is to just make enough food to feed 348252093758 people, open all the wine, push all the tables in the house together, and it'll all work itself out. Plates? Forks? Who cares? I nearly die of stress every time we have more than two people over for dinner.
