He deserves props

I was cruising my "local" paper in the States, and saw that they will be celebrating my favorite teacher as he gets ready to retire this year.
Mr Potter was a serious godsend to me. He rocks in so many ways, other than just looking like (and totally admiring) Edward Gorey. When I showed up at the school, I knew no one, and hated being there. I got into the drama cause I was always a drama geek, and had just finished a world premiere of a play (doing tech for it). I had told him about it, and he drafted me quickly into the Thespians. The second year I was in teh school (my final year), he made me president of the Drama Club, and I rocked the place. I did everything I could get my hands on.
When he found out I was in LA, he sent me a script that I still have, to show around to producers. There weren't any who deserved to see his script (well, one), so I'm still biding my time.
He's an inspiration to me, and I hope that some day I'll be able to light the fire under someone the way he did for me. I mean, not even just "Hey, you're good at that", but showing me so many new things in theatre and drama.
I've gone to many different schools in my life, and he's the ONLY teacher that stands out to me as a *teacher*...
You are the best Mr Potter. Thanks so much for helping me and being there for me, so many different times!
