B and I downloaded the pilot and first episode of the tv show Numb3rs during our pig out of downloading when in Florida. We finally watched it last night. I was totally underwhelmed.

The acting sucked. Really. I could forgive almost anything, even the crappy sets. But the acting BLOWS. I expected more from a fine ass set of actors (Sports Night, Sabrina the Teenage Witch (don't knock it til you try it, homie), Northern Exposure, Taxi), but it was HORRID. And the math. What math? This is from someone who doesn't even LIKE math. I wanted to learn some more about the math part of this. *sigh*.

On the good side, I was just crusing newsgroups and there's a new Good Eats up (Dr. Strangeloaf), plus a few first season CSIs. And I read Television Without Pity. Their synopsis (12 pages!) of the last episode of West Wing was hilarious. I kinda want to go read other stuff there, but I'm a little scared...

Freaky aside. My friend Dolores' dad was flying back to the States today. He's a respected orthopedic surgeon in Milwaukee, and about 70. He was picked for a "random screening" by immigration in Dublin at the airport (see, the US has a deal with Ireland...they have immigration here to go into the US, so there are full on Homeland Security (*spit*) agents to talk to would-be visitors and get their requisite sample of DNA). We think it was cause he has done work for a charity in Nicaragua and Cuba, sending medical supplies there. Anyway, they kept him so long, he missed his flight!!! How WUSSY.
